Description
The DS3231 RTC Module is a highly accurate real-time clock (RTC) module with built-in temperature compensation and a 32Kbit EEPROM (AT24C32). Designed for microcontroller applications such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and others, this module communicates via I2C and can store both time data and additional user data.
The DS3231 chip from Maxim Integrated features an integrated crystal oscillator and temperature sensor, eliminating the need for external components and enhancing timekeeping accuracy. It includes two programmable alarms, square wave output, and leap year compensation valid until the year 2100.
This module also integrates an AT24C32 EEPROM with 32KB storage for non-volatile data logging or configuration storage. Its I2C address can be modified using jumpers for A0/A1/A2, with a default address of 0x57.
⚠️ Note: CR2032 or LIR2032 battery not included.
