Description

The KY-032 IR Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module is a reliable and adjustable proximity sensor designed specifically for smart car robots and DIY electronics. With a detection range of 2cm to 40cm, this sensor can detect obstacles using infrared light, making it a perfect fit for robotics, automation, and obstacle-avoidance applications.

Also known as the AD-032, it operates on 3.3V to 5V, making it fully compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other popular development boards. The module features an IR emitter and receiver, and uses a TTL digital output to signal when an object is detected.

You can easily adjust both the detection distance and IR pulse frequency using the onboard potentiometers. The sensor includes an EN (Enable) pin, giving you full control to activate or deactivate the sensor programmatically.
