Description
The KY-033 Line Tracking Sensor Module is a compact and reliable IR sensor designed for intelligent path-following applications, ideal for Arduino and microcontroller projects. It detects contrasts between black and white surfaces and is commonly used in DIY smart car kits, line-following robots, and exploration vehicles.
This sensor uses an infrared transmitter and receiver to detect reflected light. A white surface reflects more IR light, while a dark surface absorbs it. The sensor outputs a digital signal (LOW when an object or black line is detected, HIGH when not detected) which can be read directly by a microcontroller.
🔧 Specifications:
-
Detection Distance: Up to ~2cm (optimal on white surfaces)
-
